The WVU Access program allows high school students to enroll in courses at West Virginia University and earn college credits. Courses can be taken on-campus, on-line, and/or in University High School.
Only the courses taught at UHS will count as high school credit. There are two WVU Access courses currently taught at UHS: Math 126 (College Algebra) and Math 128 (Trigonometry).
Students must have a high school cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Students enrolled in WVU Access courses have a reduced tuition structure. The cost for the 2017-2018 academic year was only $75 per credit hour. Most courses at WVU are 3 credit hours.
